Why
PADI Deep Diver?
The Deep Diver Specialty
course offers you the opportunity of a lifetime - going deep to see thing others
can only dream about.
This is a great Hands on course and the start of safely exploring
the limits of recreational Diving.
Recommended especially to those wishing to progress to
Divemaster and
Master Scuba Diver or who wish to explore Dorset's off-shore dives
What do I need to
start?

PADI
Advanced Open Water course (or qualifying certification
from another organization)

Minimum age: 15 years old
- If you
Completed your AOW with TAL you are already on your way to Deep adventure
as the AOW Deep dive counts as Dive one of this speciality
What will I do?
You'll learn deep dive:

Planning, organization,

Procedures, techniques and hazards.
- Practice
emergency techniques

Equipment recommended for deeper diving
- The
effect Depth has on Objects and colour as we dive deeper

You'll also put this knowledge to the test as you go on
four open water dives that range from 18 - 40 metres

Recommended Course Hours: 24

Minimum Open Water Training: four dives over two days

costs are not included in the course price as there are various options

DSV Vixen where the skills and knowledge from this course will enhance your
Dive even shallower than 30m

the most dived wrecks on the south coast you can however still find your self
alone with your buddy

a spectacular site with its massive propeller still intact

Deep Drift

certification also counts as one of five Specialty certifications required for
Master Scuba Diver certification.
