Why PADI Night Diver?
When you go night diving you'll see a whole new world. Even your local dive
site takes on a new personality at night, as many underwater creatures and plant
life (different from those you see during the day) are active at night.
Swanage Pier is a different world and a TAL club favourite for night
dives.
What do I need to start?
What will I do?
You'll learn night dive:
- Planning, organization,
- Procedures, techniques
- Potential problems.
- Navigate and communicate at
night.
- You'll also learn how to control your
buoyancy in the Dark
Since many of the plants and animals you'll see are different, you'll also
get an introduction to nocturnal aquatic life. Night Dives can turn a lifeless
dull day dive into a hive of activity and colour
How long will it take?
- Recommended Course Hours: 12 including Home Study and classroom work

Minimum Open Water Training: 3 dives
Dive one is normally at Swanage Pier
Dive 2 & 3 can be done of our Boat DSV Vixen if your Boat/ Drift Qualified as an
option (at the discretion of your Instructor)
What will I need?
- Night-Pak, which includes manual
(included in the Course Price)
- on completion there is a fee for the Certification card

- Most of our dive sites under 18m are suitable for Night diving. These are

Diver Specialty can count towards your
PADI Advanced Open Water
.
In addition, the PADI Night Diver
Specialty course counts as one of five Specialty courses required for your
PADI
Master Scuba Diver certification.
