About Us TAL arms Ltd also known as TAL Shooting was founded 1989 in Poole, Dorset, U.K. by Trevor Leyland a National & International Shooter and Smith & Wesson trained Armourer. We later moved to our larger retail premises in Christchurch. We are Registered Firearms Dealers and specialists in airguns and associated accessories. We have fully qualified and trained gunsmiths and armourers for most types of firearm and airgun.

TAL Scuba Ltd was founded in 1999 in Christchurch, Dorset, U.K. by Trevor Leyland a PADI Course Director & Master Instructor. We have a full Scuba Diving Training Centre with indoor pool and classrooms at St. Leonards, We have a fully MCA (Marine and Coast Guard Agency) coded Scuba Diving Charter boat & our fully stock retail dive shop in Christchurch.

We teach a full range of PADI courses from beginner to Master Instructor and beyond. We teach ( EFR ) Emergency First Response first aid courses & DAN ( Diver Alert Network ) first aid courses, from beginner to Instructor level. We even teach RYA (Royal Yacht Association) courses as well, including VHF radio.

We have lots of instructors, all shapes and sizes, male and female. We also hold kids parties and scuba taster sessions - so why not give it a try.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our stores, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or else where in the world, just place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency for you.

We accept Visa, MasterCard Amex, American Express credit cards, Switch and Delta cards. Cheques in GBP (Which must be cleared prior to shipment), U.K. Postal Orders, International Money Orders and Direct Bank transfers for larger orders. We also now accept Paypal payments on some orders.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship, unless the item is a special order. You can pay up front if you wish as with cheques (If you latter cancel the item before we ship we will send you a cheque refund). Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. Special order items may require either a deposit or full payment before we order them for you. If you cancel a special order item you will be liable for any costs we incur relating to your order, the balance will be refunded. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, email and snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice or take payment, which ever is first. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling We do not normally charge for packing and believe in recycling packing material when ever possible to help protect the environment. Customers with reservations regarding UK or Foreign shippers should arrange insurance separately for all goods ordered.

Delivery Schedule All orders are normally dispatched in a maximum of 5 working day (usually next working day), excluding Saturday, Sunday & Monday. We will send you an email with the tracking information when your item is packed and ready for dispatch. Delivery times will depend on the delivery service you have selected. (For instance Parcel force 24 is next working day after we have dispatched the goods, (working days for Parcel Force exclude Saturday & Sunday), 48 hours is 2 working days. With export orders you also need to allow for your counties Customs clearance procedures, this is beyond our control and in rare cases can take many days or even weeks.
If your order is unlikely to be shipped within 5 working days we will email you.

Please note that
Royal Mail (Post Office) quote up to 5 days for First Class Post, but these normally arrive in 1-2 days.

You will normally receive Normal U.K. mainland orders within 4 working days from placing your order.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock and cannot be shipped to you within 5 working days, we will back order the item for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order, amend or part ship the order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union countries, 17.5% VAT (Value added TAX, or UK Sales Tax) is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero. The customer is responsible for paying any local duties and taxes. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all laws both local and international are complied with when purchasing goods from this site. If you select exempt when you are not entitled to we will add VAT to your order and charge you before shipping.

Credit Card Security When the order is placed on either TAL Scuba Ltd or TAL Arms Ltd or TAL Shooting website, all credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer, physically here at TAL in our building. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Guarantee All goods are guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. Customers returning goods under warranty are liable for the cost of return shipping. For safety reasons please ensure you read the Manufactures instruction BEFORE use. If in doubt ask first! All goods are warranted against faulty materials and manufacture. We do not warranty against failure due to misuse or abuse, the fitting of non-standard parts, springs, seals and fair wear and tear. This does not affect your statutory rights or any manufactures warranties if supplied with goods.

Returns Policy We have a NO QUIBBLE RETURNS POLICY; if you don't want it or change your mind we will refund the items EXCLUDING Shipping costs either way. This does not apply to DVDs, CDs, Videos, Books, Software or Special order items.

We want to be fair, but all goods returned must first have a returns number issued, so please contact us first for a returns number. Before issuing a returns number we will want to know the order number and a valid reason why you wish to return the items. You are liable for any return carriage costs, items must be returned in their original packaging in the condition they were sent to you unless damage in transit. We must receive any damage claims within 24 hours of you receiving the goods or we won't be able to claim any damages from the carrier for you and we will be not be liable for these damages, so please check the goods as soon as you receive them, it's in your interest. We will not refund items that are no longer of merchantable quality unless damaged in transit by our carrier and you have reported this to us within 24 hours of receipt.
