PADI Seal Team - Kids Adventure - Scuba diving
Become a PADI Seal Team
The PADI Seal Team!
The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool by doing exciting scuba Aqua Missions.
Have you ever wondered what it's like to dive with torches, take digital pictures underwater or float effortlessly like an astronaut? There are Aqua Missions (dives) that introduce you to wreck, navigation, buoyancy, underwater photography, environmental awareness and more!
Here's your chance to do some cool stuff in the pool, meet friends and share in the adventure of the underwater world.
The Aqua Missions are great fun and they reinforce safe diving skills. As they progress the PADI Seals get to sample a wider variety of dives, including underwater photography, diving in the dark and exploring wrecks.
It provides parents with a structured program that lets the children develop skills, learn about the aquatic environment and have a lot of good, and "clean" fun!! (no muddy boots or grass stained shorts to clean afterwards!!) It is also an excellent way to introduce kids to scuba diving prior to an Open Water Diver certification.
What do I get?
Each Seal team member gets their very own aqua mission log book (just like Mum and Dad, and other older divers, they log their dives). And also their very own Aqua mission DVD, which they can watch at home to see the skills being talked about in the book.
How do I do It?
- Divers need to be 8 years or oloder.
- All Scuba gear is provided!
- They need to bring enthusiasm and we provide the fun!!!.
- We try not to think of the Seal Team as a course, more as a club. - Which means there is no stress if a session is missed for other things!!
Sessions last approximately 2 hours and are run alternating Saturdays most Saturdays of the year.
Upon completion of the PADI Seal team. Divers are just at the very beginning of their adventure! The young divers can complete a the next set of of aqua missions specialising them in new areas of diving like night diving, or search and recovery. They also embark on Skin Diver, before they then go on to Junior Open Water diver. When divers reach the age of 10, TAL Scuba also have some weekends of the year where we offer open water dives and snorkeling trips. At local sites such as Kimmeridge and Swanage Pier, it allows the young divers the opportunity to see for themselves the real underwater world!
2 Hours per session
Swimming costume & old t-shirt, (a shortie if prefered), towel and a sense of adventure!
