PADI Boat Diver Course

Shore diving is Great - Boat Diving is even better!

PADI Boat Diver Speciality Course

We have some great dive boats in the UK, if your drift diving or wreck diving you need to know how to safely dive from a dive boat.

I enjoy wreck diving and drift diving and I can't really do either without a dive boat in the UK. No 2 dives are ever the same when diving from a boat. You and your buddy need to understand the best place to sit and kit up. Where to put your gear, safety equipment and how best to get in and out of the water safely.

Most of the worlds best scuba diving is only accessible by boat. Whether you’ve never made a boat dive or you’ve have done lots, the PADI Boat Diver Speciality course will benefit you because boats around the world do things differently.

You will learn about

  • Boat terminology.
  • Boat diving procedures and etiquette, including how to enter and exit, and where to stow your gear.
  • Boating safety, including how to locate safety equipment.

This course has 2 dives from a boat, these can be wreck dives or drift dives often 1 of each, under close supervision of your instructor.
