PADI Deep Diver Speciality Course

This course is very worth while for most divers as they progress with their diver training. A must for those wanting to become Tec divers.

The lure of the deep. Depth is something that fascinates most divers… What is below…. What is down there? – That’s why most of us took up diving, to see what lay beneath! The Deep Diver course takes you to the limits of recreational diving and allows you to explore down to 40m. It is an exciting experience going to places few others will ever go!

Most of the better ship wreck dives in the UK and around the world are in deeper water, 25-40m such as the SS Thistlegorm in Egypt, SS Kyarra & HMS Carantan off Swanage UK, Um El Faroud in Malta and many more, to get the most out of these dives you want to be able to dive safely to deeper depths.

If you have been to 30m then 20m does not seem deep, if you have been to 40m then 30m does not seem deep... Here at TAL Scuba we try and make sure our students get to experience a dive to at least 35m...

You will learn about

  • Plan and prepare for a deeper dive
  • Techniques and extra equipment required
  • Considerations involved in doing deep dives
  • Emergency drills, such as emergency deco stops
  • Emergency deco theory
  • Additional air sources such as pony and bailout cylinders

This course has 4 fun, challenging Scuba Dives, completing drills and getting to feel what it's like to go deep under close supervision of your instructor.
